Review:
This is not a great movie. They would have a great movie, but failed in two main. First, two of the three leading characters are great. Blake Lively has a good eye for candy, but just not a good actress. Not bad in a small supporting role (as part of the city), but he just can not produce profits. Unfortunately, the whole movie basically revolves around him (and his story), and its limitations are brought right into the center. Every time his voice through the door, I ruled. It really was not a good choice. Taylor Kitsch no better. Again ... Good eye candy, bad acting. Very bad acting. Just any soul, and brings his character is absolutely nothing at all. He's supposed to be empty-Fast & furious movie star opposite Vin Diesel, not Oliver Stone drama. Another major flaw of this film is even worse, and this is the structure of the story. We really never had a chance to understand why the three lead characters (Chon, Ben and Ophelia), have such strong feelings for each other. We were told that they did, but never got any real reason to believe. This is important, because almost the entire premise of the film who hangs on connection. If you are going to make a big story about relationships innovative three times, the better to express more than one quick scene exactly how this relationship happened, otherwise the audience will not know why they should care about the characters. Especially when the actors portrayal of the characters arent very good to begin with. I know that I have always wondered why two people with a partner, so you have zero jealousy, for what was once thought of cheating each other, and why any of them cared so deeply for him - for sure be willing to risk their lives and terrible crimes to save his life. Where does it all come to love and trust? It has never been explained adequately, and the whole movie suffers for something it.On very good, veteran actors did a good job. Benicio Del Toro is fantastic as cartel psychotic Underboss, John Travolta chew the scenery to bits, and Salma Hayek entirely convincing in his role as well. Unfortunately, under their authority only emphasized the inability of low water. Its says that the best location in the entire movie is between Del Toro and Travolta, and none of the three leading actors were nowhere to be found, and the promise hinted this movie blows. Many comments have been problems with violence portrayed in the movies, but I have a problem. I really cant make a film about the Mexican drug cartels, violence-free, so I felt it was gratuitous. Unfortunately, however, the film has also made more than perspective.Overall believable plot, I just do not think it was a very good movie. I dont think that is the foundation felt very comfortable with what is here, sometimes trying to be Tarantino, but fails miserably. And also, I think that if the movie is in the hands of Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez, it would probably come much better, maybe even bigger.
