Review:
I finally got to see this movie in theaters bargain here in El Paso Labor Day. I originally hadnt thought much about the movie, but time went on it was out of regular theaters here in town, and I realized , i wanted to Id Id go see it. I remember hearing a number of outside critics as being a horrible movie and wanted to judge for yourself. Im glad I finally saw this movie movie.This is not a traditional clash of the Titans / Jason and the Argonauts movie making, where the gods are positioned ðugt shown and described in more important and powerful than humble people. In fact, this movie completely ignores the so-called gods, and instead put the focus where it belongs - on the troops themselves. I have studied the Iliad, as well as other stories surrounding the legendary Trojan War, since my elementary days geek T ráhyggju mythology and Dungeons & Dragons. Instead of being directed to the audience that this film demystifies Trojan War entertainment and the way in which it could have really happened. We see the elders who continue to refer to so-called gods collide like crazy. One of the lines is about as Hector (Eric Bana) indicates that Apollo not beat Achilles (Brad Pitt), and defamation statue. It is very telling that Hector seems to doubt God, he has taught worship.I been a longtime critic Brad Pitt second tier talent, which became ; famous only because of his Dis, check stops, but in this film, he surprised me. He is the real star of the film. Achilles is easily the most interesting and entertaining character. I want to thank Brad Pitts efforts to make his character a tragic hero. Achilles admits that he is not the son of the goddess, and is not immortal or invulnerable. Movie basically shows us how rumors can blossom into a legend in itself. Achilles legend WILL immortal. He even refers to my favorite scene, when she is encouraging her husband and begins to depend heavily outnumbered and still win. Later in the same scene, he ridicules the so-called gods of the Greeks and Trojans worship decapitating the statue. I found this scene symbolizes the movie itself. Gods do not have any characters and so audience.Instead and supernatural powers and feats were impossible realism. Even the death of Achilles is more realistic than a myth. The myth of Paris will kill Achilles with an arrow, but because he has no fighting skills hands is actually driven by Apollo.If one thing I do not like this picture, there was a change in Paris some kind of hero. Paris was a coward original myth and I do not see any reason to change it overnight hero in the movie. I think Orlando Bloom fans would be in a position to see the bad guy and he was uninspired against Paris better archer than Robin Hood.While including of this film was not nearly epic masterpiece that producers had hoped for, or that it was advertised, it does not deserve the bad publicity including be received from critics. I want to thank the makers of the movie, and I'm looking forward to buy the DVD.
