Review:
People say that this film is incredible. For me it is a lot more about the image and very light on the entire contents. I'm all for freedom to depict the unpleasant actions when necessary and if there is a purpose in it, but I do not see any sense in most of the film. It all seems to be designed to appeal to the lowest instincts with violence and sex, never making any important and nice to spot one of these or any other issues. I realize it will be in the top 250 list, but I personally think this movie is more because of the publicity (people think I was banned, even if in fact he was willing to back Kubrick in some countries) than to any real the merits of the film. The characters seem to me to have very little real depth, and the film is just a series of scenes designed to shock and controversy court. It's probably not a popular opinion, but I do not see the movie in itself justifies its position in the polls.
