Review:
I saw this movie on the strength of being a writer Steven Knight and director. Like his two other films (Dirty Pretty Things and Eastern Promise) provides a dark eye in London that you always thought would be there, but chose not to think about. I went with an open mind, because Id heard by Agata Buzek and Im not a fan of Jason Statham, but this is a true story and the delivery of all the players very well. Steven Knight did very well in all of his films show us to be good people struggling to do the right thing because their personal circumstances. Both Statham and Buzek character flaw. They both know how they should act, but somehow could not live up to that ideal. Strength of this film see internal anguish these characters as they try to cope with their current situation, while at the same time they seek redemption form for actions.The pass them to another movie star, for me, is the place. Knight clearly has a thorough knowledge of London and Covent Garden institution thought out in a way that fits with other aspects of the film (Stathams work and lifelong obsession Buzeks within walking distance). I'm not sure this movie would make my top 10 list, but definitely in the top 50.
